Your framing communicates emotion after you communicate framing.
I believe filmmaking is a team sport so, I’m assuming you are working with a small or large crew. On the best productions crew members have a copy of the the days shooting script and accompanying shot-list. This list will be used by department heads to determine what they need to prepare and when it will be seen in the shot. They know this because everyone uses the same language. There are some variations but the terms are easy to understand and cross over easily.
